Richard is a retired grazier who owned and operated family sheep and cattle properties for over 30 years. He currently lives in Adelaide but has previously been involved in an organisational level of politics with the NSW National Party, focusing on regional communities in NSW.

For six years Richard volunteered at his local branch of Meals on Wheels until the branch’s closure.

Richard was appointed as trustee of Adelaide Workers’ Homes in 1996 and is very proud to have played a part in the expansion of the property portfolio. Moving forward he would like to see the continued expansion of the organisation, continuing its object of providing housing for more working people.
