Philip was appointed as a Trustee of Adelaide Workers’ Homes in June 2023. Philip has an extensive career in social and affordable housing including a decade as the Executive Director, Housing SA.  In this role he led an organisation with a portfolio of 40,000 social housing properties plus responsibilities for homelessness strategy and private rental and remote indigenous services.

In 2015, Philip was awarded a Queens Birthday Honour Public Service Medal (PSM) for ‘outstanding public service in the area of social housing policy and practice’. His leadership in the industry has gained him national recognition.

Since 2018 Philip has worked as an Advisor and independent Company Director.  He holds a Masters in Policy and Administration (MPA) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
